Deidesheim: Erlebnisgarten
Description
A section of the castle park was transformed into a recreational and adventure area for all generations called Deidesheim: Erlebnisgarten. On about 2,000 square meters, you’ll find around 20 play and adventure stations, most of which are barrier-free, making them accessible for children, seniors, and wheelchair users alike.
Besides the 9-hole adventure golf course, there is a boule court, a Kneipp arm basin, a sensory trail, various climbing and sound areas, an 18-meter-long "tree snake" for balance exercises, and much more. A service center and accessible restrooms are also available.
Access is via Prinz-Rupprecht-Straße, where parking is also available. The Erlebnisgarten is about a 5-minute walk from the train station, so you can also reach it conveniently by public transportation.
