Elbe-Land-Museum in Buch: Die Flusslandschaft entdecken

## Brief Description

South of Tangermünde, in the Elbauen community of Buch, the Elbe-Land-Museum brings visitors closer to the unique nature of the Elbe river landscape in many different ways.

## Description

In the midst of scenic and nature reserve areas around peaceful Buch, you can experience the beauty of the Elbe river landscape up close. At the Elbe-Land-Museum in the NABU Center for Ecology, Nature, and Environmental Protection (ZÖNU), you'll find an Elbe fish aquarium, animal specimens, and a flood model. The highlight is the stork TV with a live feed from Adebar’s nest.

On the grounds, a farmer’s garden with a herbal scent spiral, a clay oven, a natural playground, and a farm shop offering regional products invite you to explore with all your senses. If you like, you can try your hand at traditional crafts like weaving, felting, spinning, or scything in rotating workshops. Relaxation seminars, film screenings, and travel lectures round out the program.

Regular holiday programs for children and teenagers aged eight to fifteen include nature scavenger hunts, night hikes, campfires, and boat trips.
