Explorata Mitmachwelt

The Explorata Mitmachwelt invites you to explore physical phenomena on over 1,300 m² with more than 100 hands-on experiment stations, discovering and learning through play. You can create your own research program – sometimes enjoying trying things out, sometimes diving into detailed explanations right at the exhibits.

Here you explore exciting topics like optical illusions, mechanical laws, light effects, and acoustic play. Staff members are always on hand to offer personal support and answer your questions as they come up.

The Mitmachwelt is designed for families, school groups, tour groups, and friends, making it an ideal destination for all curious about science regardless of age. Questions like “Is playing ball really child’s play?” or “Can a shadow freeze?” spark your curiosity and invite investigation. 🔍
