Freilichtmuseum Stehrerhof

Freilichtmuseum Stehrerhof shows rural life of the 19th century. In reconstructed living rooms and exhibition spaces you can see everyday work and living situations; original historic tools and machines are on display.

During the threshing weeks there are live threshing demonstrations with a working steam engine 🚂. In the craftsmen's house children and adults may try traditional crafts. On the grounds there is a museum of threshing machines, an herb garden with medicinal plants and spices, and homemade Stehrerhof doughnuts 🍩. Regular family-friendly events range from weekly doughnut days to the Advent market – seasonal programs and guided tours complement the offering.
