Description

Fuggerei invites you to public tours that offer fascinating insights into the historic neighborhood. Here, you’ll learn what life was like for the residents, staff, and those in charge – also during and after World War II.

Especially during the Advent season, there are special tours where you can discover the Christmas traditions of the Fuggerei 🎄. This family foundation, active for over 500 years, creates a unique historical connection that is also interesting for older children and teenagers.

The focus is on living, community, and care in the Fuggerei – themes that bring history to life for your children and make culture tangible, for example in the Fugger Chapel of St. Anna’s Church.
