Mühlendorf Gschnitz

Description

At the Mühlendorf Gschnitz open-air museum, you can experience an old alpine village up close. Since 2007 it has been run as an open-air museum by a nonprofit association, and there is always something to discover.

Highlights include:

  • A water-powered forge and a grain mill to see
  • Occasional demonstrations of traditional crafts
  • More workshops and alpine huts
  • A waterfall on the Sandesbach at the upper end of the village

A day trip where young and old keep discovering something new between the mill, the forge, and the waterfall.
