Description
The Stadt- und Multschermuseum Sterzing is housed in the Deutschhaus, the former seat of the Deutschen Ordens. The heart of the collection is the panels and other parts of the late Gothic Sterzinger Altar by Hans Multscher. The museum also displays artifacts from Sterzing's guild and craft history and opens its doors to contemporary themes through special exhibitions.
