The Museums-Eisenbahn Rahden-Uchte offers exciting rides on historic rail vehicles along a preserved 25-kilometer railway line. Currently, the trains run as far as Lavelsloh – a great experience for all fans of vintage trains! 🚂
The highlight is the passenger train with the original "Uerdinger" railbus set, consisting of a motor car and two trailers from the Uerdinger factory. Adding even more flair is the historic Mitropa dining car from 1928, which serves as a clubroom, office, and ticket office on running days.
Especially charming are the special themed rides, such as the Pickertessen dinner on November 13 – an experience the whole family can enjoy.
There is also the option to charter the nostalgic train for private celebrations, whether for birthday parties, wedding rides with a stop at a wedding station, or company outings.
Anyone interested in getting involved is warmly invited to join as a volunteer or member and help keep the railway tradition alive.
