Since the Brixner Stadtapotheke was founded in 1602, the Peer-Haus has preserved a remarkable collection of precious apothecary vessels, valuable herbals, pharmaceutical instruments, and remedies from every continent. The museum traces the history of medicine from the days of Paracelsus and offers a glimpse into the civic life of the town.
