Description
Simmersee offers you several ways to spend a wonderful day filled with relaxation and fun. Hikers and walkers are also well catered to with trails around the area.
Simmersee is located on a tributary of the Simmerbach north of the town of Simmern/Hunsrück. It consists of two water areas that differ in character and use. The upper water area (depth: approx. 1.5 m) is a pure biotope, while the lower water area (depth: approx. 4 m, size: approx. 60 x 150 m) is dedicated to recreation and leisure activities.
Various events take place there throughout the year.
Swimming and fishing are not allowed.
