Wilhelm-Friedemann-Bach-Haus

Description
## Short Description
Music City Halle – a must-see exhibition
## Description
On the occasion of Wilhelm Friedemann Bach’s 300th birthday, his former residence on Große Klausstraße in Halle was restored. Today, the house of Johann Sebastian Bach’s eldest son houses a music museum that takes you on a chronological journey through the city’s musical history. Alongside Bach, composers like Scheidt, Reichardt, and Loewe are featured prominently. Wilhelm Friedemann was one of the organ virtuosos of his era. As the undoubtedly musically gifted firstborn son, he faced high expectations from his parents, and the shadow of his seemingly overpowering father strongly influenced his life.
