Christkindelmarkt Kandel

The traditional Christkindelmarkt in Kandel takes place around St. George's Church and on the Plätzel, inviting you to visit during the Advent season in a cozy atmosphere.

Festively decorated huts offer a wide variety of handmade gift ideas and Christmas specialties. Artisan crafts made from fabric, wool, wood, and other natural materials complement the selection. The scent of freshly baked pastries and mulled wine creates a special pre-Christmas ambiance.

A diverse program accompanies the market throughout its duration. These include church services at St. George's Church as well as concerts and musical performances on the stage at the Plätzel. The Christmas post office by the nativity scene allows especially young visitors to send their wish lists to the Christkind.

The Christkindelmarkt takes place from the 2nd to the 4th Advent weekend each Friday through Sunday.
