Description

The Bergische Museumsbahnen e.V. invite you to an exciting journey back in time aboard historic streetcars. On rides through the picturesque Kaltenbachtal Valley, you can experience the ringing, squeaking, and humming sounds of the old trams just like in the past, while conductors sell tickets right on board.

This family-friendly outing offers not only stunning views of the Bergisches countryside 🚋, but also a chance to spot a deer. It's an ideal place for kids to get hands-on with historic technology: touching and boarding the vintage streetcars is highly encouraged.

A special highlight is the St. Nicholas event in early December, where families can meet St. Nicholas in Kaltenbachtal during the museum railway rides – a wonderful occasion for shared memories.

Also worth a visit is nearby Manuelskotten, the last water-powered mill in Wuppertal, making for an educational stop along the way.
