Manuelskotten

Description
Manuelskotten offers exciting family activities centered around traditional crafts and experiencing nature. At the special event wood carving with sticks, children safely learn how to use pocket knives and then get to bake bread on a stick – making crafts hands-on and fun.
At the traditional Mill Festival on Pentecost Monday, families can watch the large millstone demonstration, build and test wooden water wheels, and try their hand at the blacksmith's hammer.
On a special kids’ day, children can build insect hotels – a creative activity with a small material fee that supports nature conservation.
Children’s workshops invite kids to design their own buttons and print custom T-shirts – creative experiences that encourage participation.
For school classes, guided tours include a practical part: building small wooden water wheels and testing them at a nearby stream, combining learning and fun.
There is also a historic industrial monument with a working water wheel that can be admired during tours and from the outside – hands-on industrial history.
