## Description
The NatUrzeitmuseum in Bad Sachsa takes its visitors on a journey through 290 million years of natural development in the southern Harz region.
It all starts with the Ravensberg, the remains of a volcano more than 100 meters high. Here, visitors learn all about the Ravensberg spheres; stone spheres filled with crystals that are highly sought after as collector's items. Another exhibit showcases the fossil fish of the Kupferschiefer Sea: cartilaginous fish, bony fish, ray-finned fish, and lobe-finned fish.
The formation of today's landscape through gypsum karst and ice ages is explained, as well as the world of dinosaurs. The exhibit is complemented by the worlds of agates and crystals.
