Description

The Residenzschloss Dresden impresses with several world-famous historical collections and magnificent rooms, including the Grünes Gewölbe, the Kupferstich-Kabinett, the Münzkabinett, the Rüstkammer, and the splendid representative rooms of Augustus the Strong.

The distinctive Hausmannsturm offers you a viewing platform 38.62 meters high with a generous view over all of Dresden. 🌆

The palace captivates with impressive Renaissance and Neo-Renaissance architecture, featuring elaborate frescoes and sgraffito on the facade and loggia, depicting biblical and Roman historical scenes.

The Riesensaal, nearly 60 meters long and 13 meters wide, is the largest room in the palace – a magnificent place with a history dating back to 1480, expanded in the 16th century.

The Grünes Gewölbe, originally created in the early 18th century as a luxurious treasury ensemble, includes nine opulent rooms that combine Renaissance architecture with precious works of art. 💎
