Description

In the Hofburg, the former residence of the prince-bishops of Brixen, the Diocesan Museum presents sacred art from the Romanesque period to the modern era, the Brixen Cathedral Treasury, works by 19th-century Tyrolean artists, a nativity scene collection, and rotating special exhibitions. The prince-bishops' living quarters and the imperial wing bear witness to the splendor of bygone days.
