The Bandwebereimuseum Elfringhausen has been presenting an exciting experience about weaving ribbons since 1996.

Here you can admire various looms – from simple looms to complex Jacquard looms – and watch live demonstrations by the weavers. The diversity of patterns produced on the machines is fascinating. Numerous sample ribbons are on display, and you can even take some home for a small fee.

Your visit can be perfectly combined with exploring the Elfringhauser Schweiz: about 30 km of well-maintained hiking trails offer varied nature and recreational activities.
