All aboard for research at the Make Science Halle. On board, you can carry out exciting projects at different research stations, and the Make Science Halle’s door is regularly open for all interested visitors. Test water samples, experiment in the algae hands-on kitchen, or craft with fish leather – everything revolves around water, sustainability, and transformation through bioeconomy.
Science camps, project weeks, excursion and research trips, and expeditions on the Saale are also offered.
The Make Science Halle is operated by science2public, a society for science communication, supported by Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences.
## Parking Information
The nearest parking is at Fährstraße 1.
## Directions
Coming via the B6, take Paracelsusstraße, then Große Brunnenstraße. Next, continue along Burgstraße until you can turn onto Fährstraße for parking.
## Public Transport
From the main train station, take the tram to the Burg Giebichenstein stop. From there, walk to pier number 5 on the Saale promenade.
## Fees
Many events are free of charge. Exceptions may apply depending on formats and projects.
