Description

Brief Description The building itself, the vehicle hall, makes visiting the Historisches Straßenbahndepot – Nostalgie pur worthwhile. You can discover powered trams, trailers, and rail-bound wagons for other purposes.

Description The Halleschen Straßenbahnfreunde lovingly and passionately care for these vintage treasures of public transport. The historic tram depot hosts a special museum. Here, you experience the history of the “Bimmel,” the electric trams. You can admire old powered trams, some still operational or restored to working order, as well as trailers for passenger transport. Particularly impressive are the rail-bound wagons used for other purposes: the rail-bound snowplow, a rail tower wagon, the battery-powered trolley, a rail ladder wagon, a transport wagon, and a workshop wagon. Additionally, you’ll see historic buses and commercial vehicles.

A ride in one of the nostalgic trams, regularly offered, is especially fun.

Parking Information Parking is available directly in front of the site in public spaces.

Directions By way of B6/Paracelsusstraße, you drive onto Wolfensteinstraße and continue via Große Brunnenstraße until you reach Seebener Straße.
