DDR Museum

The DDR Museum in Pirna invites you on an exciting journey through everyday life and history of the DDR. On over 2000 m² of exhibition space, you can explore a fully furnished DDR apartment and original exhibits such as vehicles (Trabant, Barkas), toys, household items, clothing, and social awards.

For families with children, there is a wide range of activities including lots of fun on the bouncy castle, face painting, pony rides, and crafting workshops 🎨🐴 – making the visit an adventure for both young and old.

A special highlight is the classic car meetups and Ikarus bus rides. Culinary offerings also take care of your appetite, turning the day into a festive outing for the whole family.
